A turf that holds itself up
On most sports turf the fibres stand up because sand and rubber granules are poured between them. Granules have to be installed, topped up and kept level, and they move around the pitch. Non-Infill Grass is woven at our Dilovası facility to avoid that: straight yarns are tufted together with curled yarns that fill the base of the pile, so the turf stays upright without rubber granules.
Only a small amount of silica sand is spread to stabilise the carpet. Leaving the granules out removes their purchase and top-up cost and keeps the surface cleaner.
Specification
We produce Non-Infill Grass in 30 and 35 mm piles with a 16,000 dtex yarn. Standard colours are lime green and dark green; mixed colours and a zebra pattern are made to order. It is used on football pitches and in landscaping.
